Laboratory Department
Our Laboratory Unit was one of the oldest department in our hospital which was started as small less equipped laboratory with the capability to do small rapid test, Now its fully fledged using the latest technologies and consisting of 3 different sub-department named Hematology, Biochemistry and Microbiology with pathology planned to be launched in the near future.
1. HEMATOLOGY UNIT:
– The Hematology Unit at Nasrudin Hospital’s laboratory plays a crucial role in diagnosing and monitoring various blood-related conditions. This specialized unit performs essential tests like Complete Blood Count (CBC), which provides detailed information about the different components of blood, and Peripheral Smear, which helps in examining the shape and appearance of blood cells. These tests are vital for detecting infections, anemia, blood cancers, and other hematological disorders, ensuring that patients receive accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatments.
2. BIOCHEMISTRY UNIT:
– The Biochemistry Unit at Nasrudin Hospital is equipped with advanced automated technologies, enabling the efficient and accurate performance of a wide range of biochemistry and ELISA tests. This unit is integral to diagnosing and monitoring various metabolic and biochemical conditions. With a strong foundation in place, the hospital envisions further innovation and expansion within this unit, aiming to enhance its capabilities and continue providing top-tier diagnostic services.
3. MICROBIOLOGY UNIT:
– The Microbiology Unit at Nasrudin Hospital, established in late 2023, is dedicated to performing a wide array of cultures, including those for blood, urine, stool, and other body fluids. This unit is essential for diagnosing infections and guiding effective treatment plans. As the unit continues to operate, there are plans to innovate by introducing advanced technology that will expedite the culture process and enhance the capabilities of our skilled team, ensuring faster and more accurate results for our patients.
4. PATHOLOGY UNIT:
– Nasrudin Hospital is in the process of establishing a new pathology unit, marking another significant step in the hospital’s expansion of diagnostic services. This unit, which is set to be fully operational by early 2025, will play a critical role in analyzing tissue samples and providing accurate diagnoses for a wide range of conditions. The introduction of the pathology unit will further enhance the hospital’s ability to deliver comprehensive healthcare to the community.

Once Sample is being provided, the Reception Signs of signaling that the patient’s billing is updated, it then comes to our department and results are distributed via our HMS online system and hard copies found at the reception desk
It all depends on the test being requested, but hey don’t let that hold you, we offer different package and they are all affordable.
